Art Gallery Operations
This first-semester course involves gallery preparation and mainte- nance as students learn gallery fundamentals in the visual arts. In- volved are experiences in planning and installing exhibitions, inventory and maintenance of a permanent art collection, participation in staffing and docent activities, and gallery and student outreach programs. A field trip to a museum or gallery is required.
