Independent Studies in Family and Consumer Science

Independent Studies in Family and Consumer Education offers stu- dents the opportunity to explore topics and interests that are not avail- able through a current semester’s regular course offerings. Students must have a faculty member willing to support and evaluate the stu- dent’s progress towards the student’s learning objectives. UC transfer credit will be awarded only after the course has been evaluated by the enrolling UC campus. The units completed for this course cannot be counted towards the minimum 60 units required for admissions.
