This introductory course is designed for potential aviation career pro- fessionals such as pilots, air traffic controllers, and aircraft dispatch- ers. In this course, students will explore the fundamentals of aircraft operations as well as the history and development of the aviation industry. The students will also explore and learn the requirements for completing the AS degree in Air Traffic Control, Aircraft Dispatch, and Flight Technology. A final grade of “C” or better and completion of the Computerized Placement Testing series is necessary to move on to FLTEC 302, 306, 312, 320, and 330.
