Prerequisite Skills – Reading Skills Review

This course offers individualized, computer-assisted, self-paced practice designed to help students improve their basic reading skills by reviewing vocabulary building, context clues, word structure, and distinguishing main ideas from supporting detail. Students may enroll in this open-entry, open-exit course up to the eighth week of the semester. This course is intended as a supplement to other courses and is not a substitute for any basic skills course. Students may enroll in .5 to 1 unit. This course is graded Pass/No Pass.
