PSYC 335

Research Methods in Psychology

This course introduces students to the methods and ethics of doing research in the behavioral sciences, specifically psychology, from theoretical and practical perspectives. The course covers design and implementation issues of both experimental and non-experimental research, descriptive and inferential statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and the use of APA writing style. The laboratory projects provide opportunities to research various behavioral science topics and experience "hands-on" data collection, data analysis, results interpretation, and report writing.
