Introduction to Probability and Statistics - Honors

This course is an introduction to probability and statistics designed for students in the honors program. Topics include elementary principles and applications of descriptive statistics, counting principles, elementary probability principles, probability distributions, estimation of parameters, hypothesis testing, linear regression and correlation, and ANOVA. Scientific calculators with two-variable statistical capabilities may be required for this class. This honors section uses an intensive instructional methodology designed to challenge motivated students. (C-ID MATH 110; Competency: Mathematics)
