Introduction to Chemistry II

Designed to meet the requirements for certain nursing, dental hygiene, physical therapy, agriculture, and forestry programs (Organic and Biochemistry). A study of the major classes of organic compounds, including nomenclature structure, properties, and isomerism. Emphasizes the chemistry and metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and proteins, including nucleo-protein and enzymes through related lecture and laboratory exercises.
