An introduction to the theory and techniques of public speaking in a democratic society including essential principles and skills of public speaking. Discovery, development, and criticism of popular speaking in public discourse through research, reasoning, creative expression, culture, organization, composition, and presentation including informative, persuasive, and storytelling modes.
