Facilitating Project-Based Learning in a Competency-Based System

In this course module, youll build knowledge and skill in four key areas related to facilitating project-based learning: student engagement, sustained inquiry, scaffolded learning, and progress monitoring. Youll engage with resources for each area and create your own representation of what each facilitation skill means to you in the context of facilitating PBL. Next, youll participate in a supported facilitation model where youll submit reflections and video footage in our online community. Youll respond to others reflections so that everyone is giving and receiving feedback to improve their PBL facilitation. Finally, youll synthesize your learning into a final presentation that demonstrates how you facilitate PBL in your context.
