In this course, learners will develop foundational knowledge and skills relevant to the process of 3D modeling and unwrapping. They will create low-poly and high-poly models through the use of industry-standard 3D modeling tools and technologies. Through the use of UV mapping tools, learners will then unwrap 3D models to create UV maps that represent the 3D models surfaces on a two-dimensional plane. Additionally, learners will transform a high-poly model into a low-poly model and create and optimize UV maps in preparation for implementation into a game engine.
