The success of professional salespeople is dependent upon their ability to successfully convert prospects into customers by implementing effective sales techniques and the sales process at a deeper level. The course builds upon coursework completed in the Professional Selling course and explores various sales methodologies based on the complexity of the sale and the buyers deciding journey. In this course, students develop their prospecting and sales skills by obtaining certifications in sales and sales software. They further refine their inter-personal communication and selling skills through live and simulated role-plays. The skills demonstrated in these role plays are assessed through the use of video feedback skill-development software. Students are also coached by upper-level sales students to prepare them for a local sales competition.
