Art Therapy Seminar

This course is designed to both assess the cumulative knowledge of all major course work for art therapy majors, and to introduce students to how art therapists use research to inform their Clinical practice and expand knowledge of the field. Students will utilize their understanding of art therapy methodology, the creative applications of materials, professionalism, the multicultural impact and the ethical impact of art therapy as examples of readiness for professional, graduate. Students will report on current research in the field to develop a research proposal consisting of a comprehensive literature review and a basic proposal or plan of inquiry.
