The course will focus on analysis of gait, posture, range of motion, muscle function, joint motion and proprioception, and workplace ergonomics. Interventions in this course will address physical dysfunctions that stem from inflammation, pain, and limited movement patterns and decreased muscular strength, power, endurance and proprioception. This course will incorporate knowledge gained in pre-professional coursework in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology/biomechanics, nutrition, exercise physiology, resistance training, exercise testing and prescription.
