General Microbiology

This course studies the fundamental principles of microbiology. Students are to view and understand representatives of bacteria, viruses, fungi, algae, and protozoa, and to establish the basis of their classification, identification and activities. Emphasis is placed upon morphology, cytology, physiology and metabolism of bacteria and viruses
