Pre-Practicum Fieldwork Experience

The pre-fieldwork experience is designed to provide the student with an opportunity to be actively engaged in the instructional process in an outdoor setting under the supervision of a sit re supervisor. Through this experience, the student will be able to assess their interest in adventure education and their potential for becoming a successful instructor. This pre-fieldwork experience is designed to prepare the student for the full fieldwork experience in their senior year
