Medical Nutrition Therapy

In this course, students are introduced to the nutrition care process, medical terminology, the planning of special diets, and applications of medical nutrition therapy to selected disease states, including malnutrition, nutritional anemias, high-risk pregnancy, obesity and bariatric surgery, type I diabetes, type II diabetes, cardiovascular disorders, and renal disorders
