Advanced Nanocomposite Engineering Technology

Nanoscience requires application of both continuum mechanics and quantum mechanics to aid materirals design. The course will reflect interdisciplinary studies in composite engineering and chemistry to illuminate advanced principles of mechanics, characterization and thermodynamics in the emerging field of nanoscience/surface science. Modeling methodologies, scaling and modern processing techniques are taught.
