Teaching Licensure Senior Capstone

Restricted to and required for all students pursuing a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with SEED Licensure. This course is taken in the fall semester of the senior year. Exceptions must be approved by the Chair of the Department of Foreign Languages. In accordance with the School of Education, this course must be completed before entering teaching residency. Students will work individually, under the guidance of a faculty member, to create a portfolio and prepare a presentation to faculty and other students. In this course, students will integrate, enhance, and demonstrate the knowledge and skills learned during their undergraduate education in the areas of: speaking, listening comprehension, reading, writing and cultural literacy in the target language.
