×Birmingham, Alabama•
I love attending UAB. It feels safe even though it is in a city and there are lots of opportunities for involvement and growth. My only problem has been with the office of financial aid.

I love UAB! There are so many opportunities all around campus. Every day there I find out something new and exciting about the campus. They take care of their students and do everything they can to help.

The University of Alabama at Birmimgham is an amazing place of education. My future seems so much brighter since I transferred to UAB! The general staff and professors are wonderful and are always ready to help with whatever you may need. You will never feel out of place or mistreated here at the home of the Blazers! There are hundreds of organizations that students are encouraged to be apart of.

UAB is a great school if you are looking for a traditional campus setting placed in an urban environment. It is known for its outstanding medical field and it also has several other fields to choose from as well. Their number one priority is to help guide you to your career dreams. If you like the sound of this, than UAB will be the right college for you. Go Blazers!

UAB is a great school for diversity. The faculty on campus are very invested in their students and UAB truly wants their students to succeed. If a parent is ever worried about their child, they have nothing to fear. Campus police patrol the campus and there are emergency buttons all over so if there is a problem, the person can get in touch with authorities immediately.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is a wonderful experience with caring professors and staff. Very pretty campus with only a few unsavory incidents over the last two years. Could do with better administration. I do believe UAB is one of the better institutions for STEM in the state, but medical side is heavily funded above all else. I do believe that the residence halls leave a lot to be desired for the upper classmen, and the parking has always been a huge problem. This problem continues to be looked over and underfunded. I think there could be a lot more improvements for student life but the academic building improvements are quite nice.

I have not attended UAB yet, but I have had the opportunity to explore campus and meet future professors. Good teachers, horrible party and social scene. Good campus food, money is taken at every turn.

I’m starting UAB this fall & have had a fantastic experience! Even though the university is geared towards its medical students, as a humanities student, I still felt very supported. UAB is constantly working to update student experience and I made connections with some amazing professors that I am so grateful for.

UAB has helped me moved forward in life. I know everyone is overwhelmed with the state of the world but I have not received much in the way of responses for questions, or guidance, or anything really.

My experience so far have been all about growth. The school has given me a sense of confidence and pursuit of a greater good. The rich diversity of the city school has allowed me to see so many cultures through just a few blocks. I would love to see myself explore the campus and discover more about the history of the school.
