Mathematical Biology

Project (Term Project). Methods of mathematical modelling of biological systems including difference equations, ordinary differential equations, stochastic and dynamic programming models. Computer simulation methods applied to biological systems. Applications to population growth, cell biology, physiology, evolutionary ecology and protein clustering. MATLAB programming required.
