Population Health and System Science

Addresses the social, economic, cultural, policy-related, and environmental factors that affect the health of populations and individuals, and the role of health care systems (locally, regionally, nationally, and globally) in moderating the effects of these factors. Content builds on MDS 415A/B, the TeamPEACE (Teamwork for Professionalism, Ethics, and Cultural Enrichment) curriculum in Doctoring 1, and students’ lived experience in UC Davis free clinics.
