Religion and Postcoloniality, or Savages, Civilization, and Spirituality

Term Paper. This course examines relations between religion and colonialisms. Using specific historical situations it explores some of our thorniest theoretical problems. Students acquire a solid understanding of postcolonial theory and the historical tools to critically engage religion in the present.
