Anthropology of Globalization

This course provides an overview of anthropological contributions to the study of globalization. Particular attention is devoted to: transformations in global capitalism, state and immigration policy, transnational families, health and transnationalism. Note: previous coursework in anthropology is strongly recommended for success in this course
