Examines the various theories, accomplishments and ideals of modern architecture in the 20th century. Issues include the relationship between theory and practice, architecture and ideology, technology, abstraction and representation, functionalism and formalism, utopianism and social responsibility. Restriction: Restricted to Architecture graduate students within the College of Architecture and Planning.
