Offers essential preparation for competent multicultural and social justice counseling practice with culturally diverse clients, and families. Students learn about effective multicultural counseling and advocacy skills. The course explores the impact of ethnicity, culture, age, disability, sexual orientation, etc., on individual behavior, interpersonal relationships, and learn about multicultural and social justice interventions and techniques for addressing these issues in counseling. Restriction: Restricted to COUN majors within the School of Education and Human Development.
