Child Guidance and Classroom Community

This course presents evidence-based classroom strategies to promote social competence, build classroom community and reduce or prevent behavior problems. Emphasis is placed on understanding child development and observing behavior to make decisions for children ages birth through age 8. Restriction: Restricted to students in Education and Human Development with between 57 and 180 cumulative credit hours.
