Asian Art, 1850 to Now
A lecture-based course about developments in art and architecture of China, Japan, and Korea after 1850. Through visual analysis, vocabulary acquisition, discussion, exams, and writing assignments, students will demonstrate knowledge of historical developments and an ability to analyze the art. Prereq FINE 2600 and FINE 2610 for FINE-BA or FINE-BFA majors only. Restriction: All other students must be at junior- or senior-level standing.
