Twentieth Century French Theater
Surveys the major movements in French literature of the 20th century as represented in the theater arts. Such authors as Jarry, Artaud, Apollinaire, Giraudoux, Sartre, and Beckett are discussed. Note: This course assumes that students have passed FREN 3112 or 3122 or an equivalent course, plus one other 3000 level course in French.
