Social and Behavioral Determinants of Health and Disease

Surveys the distribution, determinants, and psychological and behavioral aspects of health and disease. Social, economic, environmental, and cultural variations in and determinants of health, disease, and quality of life, as well as barriers to access and utilization, geopolitical influences, environmental and social injustice, historical trends, and future directions are addressed. Restriction: Restricted to students admitted into the Health and Behavioral Sciences program (HBSC-PHD). Term offered: fall.
