U.S. Labor History, 1800 to the Present

Explores the experiences, contributions, and struggles of working-class Americans from the Civil War to the present. Areas of focus include pre-industrial and post-industrial labor, slavery, agricultural labor, gender and working class culture outside of the work place. Particular attention is paid to immigration, ethnicity, race and gender, as they relate to the history of Americas laboring class
