HIST 5347

History of Biology

Examines the development of modern biology from the mid-18th century to the present. Students will look at intellectual, methodological, institutional and social contexts in an attempt to answer the question of how biology became the pre-eminent science. Restriction: Restricted to Graduate Level students. Cross-listed with HIST 4347.
