Animals in U.S. History
Human-animal relationships offer powerful and unexpected perspectives on the American past. An eclectic range of readings and viewings, written assignments and contemplative experiences will contextualize contemporary practices, beliefs, and ethics vegetarianism, hunting, pet-keeping, and many others in historical context.
