Algebraic Concepts and Spatial Reasoning

This academy provides paraeducators with the skills and knowledge needed to assist students, grades 5-8, with the mathematics skills taught in the classroom. The course content is designed and adapted from standards recommended by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. It includes the specific skill building areas of real number building properties; graphical representations; algebraic concepts and problem solving; data and probability; and spatial reasoning skills as they apply to intermediate and middle school learners.
