LATN 2020
Intermediate Latin II
(Continuation of LATN 2010.) Completes the presentation of advanced Latin grammar, vocabulary, syntax, and stylistics of Latin prose. Continues the study of Latin prose composition and Latin rhetoric with emphasis on historical, cultural, and social context of authors and works. Note: This course assumes that students have passed LATN 2010 or equivalent, or have taken three years of high school Latin, or possess equivalent proficiency. A grade of C- or higher in LATN 2010 is recommended for success in this course.
