Basic probability theory, discrete and continuous random variables, point and interval estimation, test of hypotheses, and simple linear regression. Note: no co-credit with MATH 4810. Note: This course assumes that students have taken MATH 2411 and have either previously taken MATH 2421 or are taking MATH 2421 the same semester as MATH 3800. Students who have a grade of B- or better in MATH 2411 pass this course at a much higher rate. Term offered: fall, spring.
