MATH 4793

Discrete Math Modeling

Every other year. Focuses on the use of graph theory and combinatorics to solve problems in a wide variety of disciplines. Applications are selected from computer science, communication networks, economics, operations research, and the social, biological and environmental sciences. Note: This course assumes that students have taken MATH 3191 and MATH 4408. Students who have a grade of B- or better in MATH 3191 and MATH 4408 pass this course at a much higher rate. Cross-listed with MATH 5793.
