Numerical differentiation and integration, numerical solution of ordinary differential equations, and numerical solutions of partial differential equations as time allows. Note: This course assumes that students have the equivalent of linear algebra and differential equations (e.g., MATH 3195 or both MATH 3191 and 3200) and programming experience or a first course on numerical analysis (e.g., MATH 4650).
