Partial Differential Equations
Infrequent. Initial/Boundary value problems for first-order, wave, heat and Laplace Equations; maximum principles; Fourier Series and applications. Note: This course assumes that students have the equivalent of an undergraduate sequence in calculus (e.g., through MATH 2421) and differential equations (e.g., MATH 3200 or 3195).
