Macroscopic Thermodynamics
Axiomatic presentation of fundamentals of classical thermodynamics (first law); energy, work and heat. Equilibrium, reversible, and irreversible processes; entropy production and the second law. Applications to stability and phase equilibrium. Irreversible thermodynamics and the Onsager reciprocal relations. Graduate standing or permission of instructor required.
