Finite Element Stress Analysis

Students learn basic theory of finite element analysis (FEA) as it applies to stress analysis and design of mechanical components. Commercial package will be used giving students practical experience in the use of FEA. Graduate standing or permission of the instructor required. Cross-listed with MECH 4175.
