Global Health: Comparative Public Health Systems

Within a limited period of time, middle and low income countries have experienced dramatic changes that affect the length and quality of peoples lives. The health indicators for each country reflect a rich and meaningful context within interacting systems of economic, social, cultural patterns, and environmental and social justice. Analysis and contrast of public health indicators such as the millennium development goals develop an understanding of the complexity against a background of change. Cross-listed with URPL 6349.
