Sex, Gender and Culture
A cross-cultural examination of the interrelationship between biological sex, socially-constructed gender norms, sexuality, and culture. Topics include feminist/gender theory, masculinity, femininity, hermaphroditism, hetero-normative sexuality, and homosexuality with emphasis on non-U.S. cultures
