Jazz Improvisation
This course is designed to provide the student with an introduction to jazz improvisation. Experience with basic harmony will be accomplished through the practical use of scale - choral relationships, jazz notation, ear training, rhythmic concepts, jazz style, and articulation. Each student will be required to improvise on the instrument of their choice
