Pharmacology

This course is designed to provide nursing students with a sound basis for the clinical application of pharmacology. The basics of core drug knowledge, including pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacodynamics, and pharmacokinetics are covered. Emphasis is placed on learning drug classifications by clinical indication or body system with advanced understanding of potential drug interactions, pharmacogenetics and pharmacoeconomics
