Advanced Pharmacology
This course is designed to provide advanced practice nursing students with a sound basis for the clinical application of pharmacology. Core drug knowledge, including pharmacotherapeutics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics are discussed. Emphasis is placed on learning drug classifications by clinical indication with an advanced understanding of potential drug interactions, side effects, and goals of pharmacologic therapy
