I really like the University of Maryland. The atmosphere on campus is amazing, great academics and sports. There are so many opportunities to do at UMD. The biggest downside is high cost of out of state tuition. Other than that, if you're thinking about UMD, go!

The University of Maryland is a good school. It's a great experience, and it's good diverse. Great instate tuition too. The dorm quality really depends on where you live, but student's seem to enjoy the dorm life no matter what.

UMD is an amazing place to attend. The professors are helpful. I like the area - it is safe as long as you don't walk in bad places at night but the campus has resources to help out with that.

University of Maryland is a great experience. I like the diversity, the location, the general atmosphere was very welcoming. One thing I don't like about college park is safety after dark as a lot of cases are reported recently which scares me go outside after 10pm.

The campus is a beautiful, the student life is very active hosting many events and activities to get the student involved. The professors are generally decent but sometimes are focused too greatly on their own research rather than teaching.
