Milestone Discoveries in the Health Sciences
Examination of seminal discoveries in the health sciences. Focus will be on those discoveries that saved lives and/or reduced suffering by changing the way medicine was practiced or public health was improved. Selected topics will be examined in terms of the foundation laid by the discovery, the challenge to the existing paradigm, and the importance to todays health care field
