Survey of Physical Chemistry

A course designed for students in the life sciences or others desiring a one-semester survey of the physical aspects of chemistry. Application of thermodynamics to chemical reactions, energy transfer processes, and chemical and physical equilibria; the study of reaction rates and mechanisms; structure of gases, liquids, and solids; molecular structure and spectroscopy.
