CHEM 3113

Survey of Instrumental Methods of Analysis

Methods of instrumental analysis with emphasis on sample handling, instrument parameters, data handling, and trouble-shooting in various areas that include Potentiometry, Spectroscopy, Mass Spectrometry, and Chromatography. Either CHEM 3113 or CHEM 3112, but not both, may be used to meet requirements for the B.A. degree. Two lecture hours and two three-hour laboratory periods per week.
