Introduction to Electromagnetic Fields

A study of electric and magnetic fields using the vector formulation. Vector analysis. Electrostatics: potential functions, dielectrics, capacitance, energy, and forces associated with electric fields, solution of Laplances and Poissons equations. Magnetostatics: vector potential functions, Lorentz forces, hysteresis, magnetic polarization and induction, and energy. Gausss, Amperes, Faradays laws, etc., leading to the Maxwells equations.
